I didn’t make a time machine out of a Delorean. I did make a desk out of refrigerator parts though!
Below is a picture of my new lightweight and much smaller desk. The legs and keyboard tray are from a close out desk from Staples. The desktop and the rear panel are stainless steel fridge door panels that I salvaged from the scrap heap at work.
I have a few modifications to make to it, including a cable management system as well as some form of task lighting. Stay tuned.

Well, maybe it is just me, but I would strongly suggest some GROUNDING OF METAL PLATES YOU LEAN ON while there might be a live wire somewhere close by… just one of those safety things.
